What’s the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property when the facility manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours your outside rental unit can be accessed using your assigned electronic gate code.
You can access your outside unit during the gate hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.  7 days a week. Your climate controlled unit is accessible Monday-Friday from
9 a.m. to 5:30.p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?
Indoor units are located inside a building on the property. Outdoor units have direct drive-up access. All units are ground level.
A drive-up unit is a ground level or outdoor unit that has its own loading area. These units are ideal for storing large, heavy items or equipment as you have the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle. All of our outdoor units are drive-up.
Do you have moving carts available?
Hand trucks are available. Please let the facility manager or his assistant know and he or she will be happy to assist you.
Roll-up doors are very similar to garage doors and are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward. Roll-up doors are the most common doors in self-storage facilities and are bigger than most garage doors, allowing tenants to maximize the space of their unit.
Climate control units are cooled or heated to protect your stored belongings from extreme temperatures.
Can I buy boxes and other packing products from Drive-in Mini Storage?
Yes. We offer a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies
Do I need a lock when I rent a unit?
You can purchase a new, sealed lock at Drive-in Mini Storage that only you will have a key to. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks
Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?
Our Facility has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a personal code which is assigned to each individual tenant.
How far in advance can I book a reservation?
There is no special time for advance reservations. Whatever time suits your requirements is acceptable
What are the payment terms? Rent is due prior to the 10th of the month. Bank checks, or major credit and debit cards are accepted, as is, of course, cash
Do I need insurance for my stored goods?
Insurance to cover your goods is always advisable, as you are responsible for those items you put in storage with us.
What kind of documentation is required to rent a storage unit?
A state issued identification card, driver’s license, passport, or military ID will suffice.
Do I need to give you a notice when I am ready to move out?
A 10Â day written notice is required prior to vacating the unit.
What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your storage needs. Drive- in Mini Storage unit sizes range from a 4’x4’x4’ A.C. locker to a 10’x25’ garage bay, approximately ten feet high. One of our facility managers can assist you in your selection process.
